Description

Genuine rush is flat cattail leaves from upper New York state which can be twisted (2-3 strands at a time) by hand into a strand for weaving. The cattails range in length from 4'-6’ and are green in color. An average size chair requires about 3 lbs. of material. Genuine rush is not recommended for beginners.
